The “Media Old and New” working group is hosting a talk with Professor Kinohi Nishikawa (Princeton University) on Tuesday, September 19th at 4:30pm. Reframing Blackness: The Installation Aesthetic of “In Our Terribleness” will examine the infamous Harlem On My Mind exhibition of 1969 with a focus on book design, Black Arts visual culture, and race and museum politics.
