CMCS Virtual Book Launch Event – Modelwork: The Material Culture of Making and Knowing (May 10, 5:30 pm)

The Center for Material Culture Studies is delighted to announce that we will be hosting a virtual book launch to celebrate the publication of Modelwork: The Material Culture of Making and Knowing on Tuesday, May 10th at 5:30-6:30 pm EST.

Volume editors Martin Brückner, Sandy Isenstadt, and Sarah Wasserman will be joined by Catherine Howe (Williams), Martin Scherzinger (NYU), and Juliet Sperling (Univ. of Washington) to discuss how models shape and help us understand the world around us. A Q&A session will follow afterward.
