Don’t miss the CMCS Blackness and Publicness Working Group’s last event this semester! On Friday, November 6 from 12 – 2 pm the group will host Dr. Mia Bagneris, Director of the Africana Studies Program at Tulane University, for a guest lecture and conversation. Her talk is entitled: “‘Lady, while you are young and beautiful, forget not the slave …’: The Album Art of Sarah Mapps Douglass and Sarah L. Forten.”
