The Center for Material Culture Studies is hosting an introductory reception for anyone interested in DELPHI (Delaware Public Humanities Institute). Every year, University of Delaware MA and PhD students pursuing material culture-related projects are encouraged to apply for this opportunity. A total of twelve fellows will receive a two-week training course in public engagement and how to translate research into publicly accessible material. Fellows are also given $4500 to facilitate material culture research.
Anyone interested in DELPHI will benefit from this reception where they will hear from, and speak with, DELPHI instructors and past DELPHI fellows.
