The Working Group in Theory / Method / Pedagogy will meet to discuss the last Paragraph (but really all) of Walter Benjamin’s “Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical of It’s Technological Reproducibility” (1936) Redux–this time with Susan Buck Morss, “Aesthetics and Anaesthetics: Walter Benjamin’s Artwork Essay Reconsidered” (1992) (If you reread Benjamin’s essay only once in 2017, why not read it with us?).
