DELPHI: Applications Due February 15th

UD’s Center for Material Culture Studies encourages students engaged in material culture studies to apply for DELPHI (Delaware Public Humanities Institute) fellowships for summer 2020. The 2020 Delaware Public Humanities Institute will take place May 21-June 5 (May 21-22, May 26-27, June 1-5).

With support from the National Endowment for the Humanities, up to twelve DELPHI research fellowships will be awarded to University of Delaware MA and PhD students pursuing research in material culture studies in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. DELPHI fellows will participate in a two-week Institute, held in late May and early June 2020, designed to develop and practice skills for communicating material culture research to public humanities audiences, such as grant writing, public speaking, and digital scholarship. Successful applicants will be awarded $5000 for a ten-week fellowship.

DELPHI applications are due by Feb. 15, 2020. See How to Apply for application guidelines. See About DELPHI for further information about Institute activities, alumni, fellows’ projects, and FAQ.
